This year marked the launch of the first-ever Brickworks Management Association (BMA) Annual Perception Survey, an important step in strengthening how the Association measures service delivery, understands stakeholder experiences, and plans for the future of this developing industrial precinct.
The purpose of the survey is straightforward: to gather honest feedback from businesses, employees, property owners and regular precinct users so the BMA can benchmark performance year-on-year, identify priorities and ensure the precinct continues evolving into a sought-after business and logistics address.
Key highlights include:
-
92% of respondents would recommend The Brickworks Precinct to others.
-
A strong business confidence rating of 9.3/10 and an overall experience rating of 9/10.
-
The precinct is viewed as safe and clean, with 69% feeling safe during the day and 84% feeling safe or reasonably safe at night.
-
Cleanliness and landscaping received consistently positive feedback, with over 90% rating these areas as “Excellent” or “Great.”
-
Respondents also commended security visibility, general management, and transparent communication.
Respondents noted a few improvements that would enhance the overall experience, such as additional public parking, taxi access, and public ablutions — useful insights as the precinct continues to develop.
This first set of results gives the Association a clear baseline to build on. As the precinct grows and new businesses move in, the Annual Perception Survey will remain a key tool for measuring progress and guiding decision-making.
