Collaboration With eTM on Water Outage & Streetlight Faults

Municipal Services

September saw the Brickworks Management Association continue working closely with eThekwini Municipality to address service delivery matters and infrastructure-related issues affecting the precinct.

Major Water Outage Impacts Precinct Operations

The most significant municipal issue during the month was a major water outage that affected the precinct from 23 September. The BMA remained engaged with the relevant municipal departments while monitoring the situation and assisting with communication where required.

Municipal Follow-Up on Damaged Light Poles

Throughout September, the precinct continued engaging with the eThekwini Electricity Department regarding two damaged light poles along Brickworks Way. These faults were reported and followed up with the relevant municipal teams to facilitate repairs and improve safety along the route.

Collaboration and ongoing engagement between the BMA and municipal departments helped ensure matters were logged, monitored and escalated where necessary.
