As we reflect on the final month of 2024, The Brickworks precinct remained well-maintained thanks to the continued efforts of the Idube team. Despite the year-end slowdown, scheduled maintenance work carried on, ensuring that the precinct remained clean and in excellent condition heading into the new year.
Verge and Embankment Maintenance
Throughout December, the team focused on verge maintenance and completed the final round of grass cutting on the freeway-facing embankments. Grass cutting and general maintenance also continued along the N2 boundary fences to keep these areas neat and free from excessive growth. These efforts contribute to maintaining the precinct’s overall professional appearance and accessibility.
Boundary and Weed Control
Alongside grass cutting, maintenance continued along boundary areas, ensuring clear and accessible spaces throughout the precinct. Weed control remained a priority, with targeted spraying in key areas to prevent overgrowth and maintain a tidy environment.
Road Sweeping and General Upkeep
The team also conducted sweeping along the roadsides, ensuring that dirt and debris were cleared to keep main routes clean and free from obstructions. These efforts contribute to the overall cleanliness and functionality of the precinct’s infrastructure.
New Garden at the Circle Island
December also saw the planting of a new garden at the circle island, adding a fresh and vibrant touch to the precinct’s landscaping. This initiative enhances the overall aesthetics of The Brickworks and aligns with our ongoing commitment to improving and maintaining green spaces within the precinct.
Looking Ahead
Maintenance work will continue, particularly in response to the increased vegetation growth brought on by seasonal rains. Regular verge cutting, weed control, and general precinct upkeep remain a priority to sustain the high standards of The Brickworks.
