August saw continued investment in the appearance, functionality and upkeep of The Brickworks precinct
Active Development Sites Continue Making Progress
Development activity remained a positive feature of the precinct throughout August, with all active construction sites reporting steady progress.
Ongoing site inspections and precinct oversight helped ensure that development activity continued without impacting the overall appearance and functionality of the estate. Corrective maintenance was also undertaken where required, including the removal of unsafe poles and repairs to damaged signage infrastructure.
Landscaping & Cleaning Programmes On Track
Cleaning, greening and environmental management teams remained active throughout the month, helping to maintain the high standards expected within The Brickworks. Key activities included:
- Routine road-cleaning operations
- Verge maintenance and landscaping
- Grass-cutting programmes
- Ongoing environmental management
- General precinct upkeep and inspections
- Repairs to signage infrastructure
- Removal of unsafe poles
Major Maintenance Projects Advance
Several infrastructure and maintenance projects also progressed during August, including:
- Ongoing perimeter fence repairs
- Installation of the Command Centre biometric access system
- Fault-finding and repairs to precinct lighting
- Maintenance and repairs to entrance signage
Fire Suppression Infrastructure RestoredΒ
Routine testing and maintenance of the precinct’s fire suppression infrastructure remained a priority. This month, regular suppression system tests were completed, faults were identified and impairment notices were issued where required. Specialist contractors were appointed and the system was successfully restored.Β A further planned impairment was later undertaken to accommodate infrastructure upgrades and compliance-related works.
From landscaping and cleaning programmes to infrastructure upgrades and development oversight, August reflected another month of proactive precinct management.
