Construction activity at The Brickworks has maintained strong momentum throughout March, with all active sites progressing steadily despite recent rainfall. There were no disruptions reported, and work continues efficiently across the precinct.
Fire Protection Repairs Completed
A previously damaged fire feed line on one site has now been fully repaired following a revised engineering solution. The system has completed its required curing period and has been fully reinstated and tested, ensuring all fire suppression and safety systems are now operational across the precinct.
Structural Progress Across the Precinct
- Structural installations, including panels and roofing frameworks, continue to advance steadily.
- Across all sites, work is proceeding on schedule, with significant milestones reached on each project.
- Contractors and teams continue to operate safely, managing site coordination efficiently despite the rainy conditions earlier in the month.
Utilities and Fibre Updates
Access agreements and payments for fibre network installation are being finalised, with works scheduled to commence once agreements are confirmed. Weekly and annual checks on suppression tanks were successfully carried out, with recommendations for pipework protection being implemented to safeguard operational reliability.
With structural progress continuing at pace and all safety systems fully operational, the precinct remains on track for scheduled completion in mid-2026. The BMA will continue to monitor construction, maintenance, and safety systems.
